The Town of Marion was awarded $445,500 from a Delta Regional Authority Grant for Marion Sewer Improvements. The funds are being used for a new Taylor St./Huttig Hwy. Lift Station and relocation of the lift station. Mayor Smith stated,” I pursued the grant funds aggressively due to our sewer system being 55-60 years old”. I am very proud of this grant and the critical sewer system improvements we’re addressing!
